Lakeland Police Memorial

Hardeman Kempton & Associates, Inc. has completed conceptual designs for the City of Lakeland, Police Memorial which will be located at the Lakeland Police Department. The design concepts will be displayed in the lobby for viewing and voting by the employee base. Both designs are linear and transition in spatial and conceptual hierarchy from the street to the interior wall which functions as an area of deep reflection and mourning for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the members of their City.

Dixieland Community Redevelopment Agency

Even small enhancements make a big difference.  Hardeman Kempton & Associates, Inc. (HKA) prepared conceptual designs and landscape guidelines for streetscape and alleyway improvements within the Dixieland Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) district in Lakeland, Florida.  The recently implemented renovations kicked off a multi-year project that first focuses on inexpensive, practical, and attractive enhancements to the most highly used alleyways within the district.  This phase of work provides drainage improvements, new fencing, modified parking, and decorative paving.  The neighborhood is known for the unique ‘Art Deco’ style integrated within the signs, storefronts, and overall character of the district.
